 LAUREN BAXTER MMU PORTFOLIO 18025776   Development  The idea of this photo shoot was to combined Sherman and Moraths photography and reflect an issue women can face. For this image I wanted to reflect the idea of a man admiring a womens body, with sexual intentions. The paper bag was to resemble that her identity was irrelevant, she was only a sex object.  Sketchbook work  These two images were a recreation of the Olympia Manet painting by Édouard Manet. The idea of this shoot was to compare a passive image to a non passive image. As the Olympia painting caused a lot of controversial due to her looking directly at the audience, I wanted to show how when my model looks to the camera it makes the audience feel intimidated.
